WHAT IS DRY SCALP?
“Dry scalp” is best described as a feeling of dryness and tightness on the scalp. It is commonly associated with visible skin flaking and can also result in itching. Read on to find out more about dry scalp and how to treat it.
DRY SCALP VS. DANDRUFF
Much like dandruff, dry scalp affects many people and can lead to discomfort and a lack of confidence.
When the scalp loses too much of its natural moisture it becomes dry and tight. This can occur due to factors like cold weather, a buildup of hair products, or even dehydration.
Dandruff on the other hand, has many causes and is usually associated with the presence of Malassezia - a yeast-like fungus that grows on oily areas of the scalp. 1. Stay Hydrated

3. Change your shampoo
Whilst it’s true that overuse of hair products can cause dry scalp, moderate use of a good shampoo is still important.
